System tray and startup
Theme, Language, Close to system tray and Start with Windows are in Settings, under General.
- With Close to system tray on (the default), closing the window keeps PuppyMacro running in the system tray, with hotkeys and remaps working. Right-click its icon for Open PuppyMacro, Stop all and Exit, or press the Open PuppyMacro hotkey (Alt+Shift+A on a new install, Settings > Hotkeys) to show the window.
- Starting PuppyMacro again (from the Start menu or the desktop) while it is running opens its window.
- Start with Windows starts PuppyMacro in the system tray when you sign in.
- Theme: System (follows your Windows setting), Light or Dark.
- Language: Use system language (the default) shows PuppyMacro in your Windows display language when PuppyMacro is translated into it, otherwise in English. Or choose one of the languages, each listed by its own name: English, Italiano, Français, Español, Deutsch, Português (Brasil), Română, Shqip, Русский, العربية, 日本語, 한국어 and 中文(简体). PuppyMacro asks to restart to show the new language: Restart now, or Later to see it the next time it starts. Numbers and dates follow your Windows regional format while it is in the same language. The names you give loops, macros and remaps are never changed, and this guide is in English.
